Summary

Sheet to Calendar Sync runs inside your Google account. It reads the spreadsheet you use it in and writes events to the Google Calendar you choose. We do not copy your spreadsheet or calendar data to our own servers, we do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data we access, and why

• Google Sheets (spreadsheets): to read the rows and headers you map, and to write the three "Cal sync" columns back to the sheet. Access to spreadsheets beyond the one currently open is used only to run the hourly automatic sync you switch on for a spreadsheet.
• Google Calendar events (calendar.events): to create, update and delete the events that correspond to your rows. The add-on marks the events it creates and only changes those.
• Google Calendar list (calendar.calendarlist.readonly): to show the calendars you can choose from. It cannot read your events.
• Triggers (script.scriptapp) to run the hourly sync you enable; external requests (script.external_request) only to check a Pro license key with our licensing provider; sidebar (script.container.ui) to show the add-on's panel.

Where data is stored

Your sync settings are stored in the spreadsheet's add-on properties, and your license status in your Google account's add-on properties. Both stay within Google. Event data stays in your spreadsheet and your calendar. If a sync fails, the add-on's error log records only that it failed, never your spreadsheet or calendar content.

Licensing

If you buy Pro, payment is handled by our reseller, Freemius, Inc., which receives your name, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. To check a license, the add-on sends the license key and a random installation identifier to Freemius. No spreadsheet or calendar data is sent.

Limited Use

Newel Labs' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and no person at Newel Labs reads your data unless you ask us to help with a support request and share it with us.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the add-on (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons) and delete the three "Cal sync" columns. To remove events it created, delete them in Google Calendar. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. For license records, email [email protected].

Children

The add-on is not directed to children under 13.
